Project Overview
Cashia merchant portal is designed to streamline the process of adding products and managing inventory on an e-commerce platform.


Problem statement
Merchants often face challenges when it comes to efficiently adding products and managing their inventory. These tasks can be time-consuming and complex, leading to errors, delays, and a suboptimal user experience. To address these issues, The portal was conceived with the goal of providing a user-friendly, efficient, and feature-rich solution for merchants.

We conducted surveys and interviews with existing e-commerce merchants to comprehend their pain points and needs. Simultaneously, an analysis of existing merchant portals and e-commerce platforms was carried out to discern strengths and weaknesses.
Utilizing the research findings, I developed user personas representing the primary merchant user groups.

Design
Simple, Efficient
& Insightful
I designed an intuitive and user-friendly interface aimed at simplifying product addition and inventory management, ensuring a seamless experience on both desktop and mobile devices. Additionally, a dashboard was integrated to offer valuable data insights, empowering merchants to make informed decisions.




User testing

The merchant portal underwent several rounds of user testing with actual merchants to gather feedback and make iterative improvements.

Conclusion
The UX design journey involved thorough research, user-centric design solutions, and continuous iteration. By addressing the pain points of e-commerce merchants and providing a user-friendly portal for product management and inventory control, Cashia has successfully improved efficiency and user satisfaction in the world of e-commerce.
